Hsiao contain 2′,4′-dihydroxy-5,6-dimethoxyisoflavone, choline, betaine, amino acids, sucrose, glucuronic acid, and trace amounts of folic acid. And roots of Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch.) Bge. contains β-sitosterol, linoleic acid and linolenic acid.*
